Welcome to Tidushop!
Hi there! My name’s Chris—though you might know me online as Tidushot. I started this store back in January 2021 as a Pokémon card shop. At the time, the hype for Pokémon cards was off the charts—so much so that cards were being scalped and sold for ridiculous prices far above MSRP. My goal was simple: to create a trusted space where people in the community could find cards at fair prices (often MSRP or lower).
Over the 3½ years that Tidushop operated as a Pokémon-only shop, we pulled some incredible cards and connected with so many amazing people. But by late 2023, things started to shift. The Pokémon craze had cooled a bit due to higher base prices and some less popular card sets. That’s when I realized it was time for a change.
As a lifelong video game player and collector, transitioning into the world of new and used video games felt like a natural next step. Since making that decision, I’ve been diving deep into the ins and outs of console hardware—learning how to fix, clean, and maintain systems. Restoring older consoles to a clean, functional state has been a rewarding process, and I’m excited to share this passion with you.
So here we are! Everything listed in the store has been cleaned, tested, and verified by me. I’m constantly adding new products as I get them, so be sure to check back often to see what’s in stock—whether it’s games, consoles, or even some Pokémon cards.
I’m also planning to post here monthly to share updates about the business, the gaming world, and the Pokémon card community. If you’d like to connect or have any questions, feel free to check out the social and contact info below.
Thanks for stopping by and taking a moment to get to know me. I’m looking forward to being part of your gaming journey!
Game on!
Chris
